Anna Mary Billany
(b. 2001, Washington, Tyne & Wear)
Anna is a visual artist, technician, and facilitator based in PINK, Stockport. Working across zines, bookbinding, print, and multi-media, their practice explores themes of cyberfeminism, online obsession, and growing up isolated in the industrial North.
They studied at Sunderland University (Foundation in Art & Design) and Manchester School of Art (BA Hons Illustration with Animation).
Alongside their personal practice, Anna co-directs Caterpillar Press — a queer-owned, not-for-profit worker cooperative focused on shared print facilities and mutual aid. The press provides accessible bookbinding and print services, and supports collaboration within the creative community.
